The second of our preview performances for our Fall Concert titled, "Music From Around The World" which was held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Kaimuki High School Auditorium.
The celebration of our country's independence continued at an outdoor concert at Central Union Church. After the concert we enjoyed an authentic 4th of July lunch with burgers and hotdogs.

HCCB Raised $5,500+ for Japan Disaster Relief in Charity Concert
Saturday, March 12th, 2011 was originally planned to be a joint multi-cultural performance with the visiting Omiya City Wind Symphony of Saitama, Japan. Due to the earthquake, they were unable to leave Japan. This already scheduled event became a perfect opportunity for the Hawaii community to show support for the people of Japan in their critical time of need. After fewer than 24 hours notice of the charity event, over 300 attended and helped to raise over $5,500 in support of Japan Disaster Relief! |
